SafeHouse1Furnishing the Safe House Dormitory

We are now clearing ground for building the safe house. The building materials will arrive on the reservation on June 22nd and the building is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy by early August. We are now planning for the needed furniture and household supplies. The kitchen appliances and the clothes washer and dryer have been donated.

DSC_0333The following is a list of items that are still needed. You can help by either donating one or more of the items or by making a donation to help purchase some of the items. To donate an item, please contact Jeri Baker (jbaker@nativeprogress.org)

Some of you have indicated that you would be visiting the reservation this summer and would like to see the building of the Safe House in progress. Please do email me (jbaker@nativeprogress.org) and we will make arrangements.
