I received an e-mail from a woman in Indiana who happened to mention that her husband has lots of fishing poles and supplies and can anyone on Pine Ridge use them? Well, a grandfather on Pine Ridge on the Okini List would like fishing poles to take his grandchildren fishing. When I called him, he was delighted to tell me about his love of fishing. Not only does he take his grandchildren fishing, but he helps the hatchery stock the lakes with trout, organizes an annual Fishing Derby on Pine Ridge, teaches kids and adults to fish and gives them fishing poles.

So ONE Spirit is helping the woman in Indiana and she is helping the grandfather and the people of Pine Ridge to have one more resource for food.
