New Warrior Camp
After the Crazy Horse Ride will be over, we are offering the annual Post Crazy Horse Ride Summer Camp.
They include Lakota kinship and a safe environment for riders with families affected by alcoholism, drugs or overcrowded living conditions. Here, the riders learn spiritual horsemanship, get an equipment repair training and are taught horse-related crafts. The event also includes traditional sweat lodge ceremonies, alcohol and drug counseling, motivational speakers and counseling.
Please support Lakota Youth and make a dream come true for many kids.
Your donation of $100 would pay for one month at the camp for one youth. A gift of $300 would sponsor a teenager for the entire summer.
Tepees for the summer camps and cultural rides: ONE Spirit wants to raise $3,500 to purchase seven tepees for the youth. Each tepee costs $500.

Crazy Horse Ride extended Wellness Safe Camps
To promote a continued spiritual elevation and bring forth a caring spirit for the compassion of the Wolakota of Brotherhood, Post Crazy Horse Ride camps will include traditional Lakota kinship and safety environment for Lakota in support of those who wish to carry on the Crazy Horse Ride spirituality and kinship. Also to provide an alternative for riders with families who suffer from the effects of alcoholic disadvantaged circumstances, to include traditional sweat lodge ceremonies and a sharing extension of spiritual horsemanship, also horsemanship equipment tack repairs training and horse related crafts. Youth counseling services, motivational speakers and alcohol and drug counseling will also be a part of our summer camp.
The camps are a way to further the great Lakota kinship achieved from the connection created through the Crazy Horse ride where the Lakota children and the horse are once again spiritually connected in everlasting cultural bond. The camps are scheduled throughout the summer and are a spiritual therapy to the Lakota youth many of whom suffer the effects of alcoholism, poverty and the traumatic life styles that arise from its generational effects. Summer months on the South Dakota prairies are very hot. Temperatures are dry and can rise to 100 degrees on a steady basis. The horse camp swimming pool has been wind damaged and it would be a good enjoyment for the youth with no other swimming pools within the entire Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. The camp participants would also need trucking to include the Little Big Horn Ride adventure in Montana.

We are happy to inform all our generous donors that we were able to replace the damaged swimming-pool. The kids enjoyed the new one very much.
